Refund Policy for the National Association of Resale & Thrift Shops (NARTS)

Effective Date: January 1, 2026

 

This Refund Policy outlines how refunds are handled for memberships, events, programs, and other purchases made through the National Association of Resale & Thrift Shops (NARTS).

 

By purchasing a membership, registering for an event, or buying a resource through the NARTS website, you agree to this Refund Policy along with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

 

Membership Dues

 

NARTS memberships are prepaid and non refundable.

There will be no refund of prepaid dues if a member chooses to terminate their membership for any reason, including but not limited to changes in business circumstances, non use of benefits, or early cancellation.

 

Membership access and benefits remain available through the end of the paid membership term unless otherwise stated.

 

Events, Seminars, and Programs

NARTS events, seminars, conferences, training programs, and similar offerings may each have their own refund, cancellation, transfer, or credit policies based on event dates, venues, and associated costs.

 

Any event specific refund or cancellation policy will be clearly disclosed at the time of registration or purchase and will apply to that specific offering. Those terms are separate from and in addition to this general Refund Policy.

 

Digital Products and Resources

Unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase, digital products, downloads, and online resources are non refundable once access has been provided.

 

Payment Disputes and Chargebacks

Members and purchasers are encouraged to contact NARTS directly with any questions or concerns regarding charges. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting NARTS may result in suspension of access to membership benefits or resources.

 

Changes to This Policy

NARTS reserves the right to update or modify this Refund Policy as needed. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
