NARTS Partner Agreement and Code of Ethics
Purpose of the Partnership
This agreement outlines the relationship between NARTS and approved Partners. Partner participation is intended to support NARTS members through relevant services, tools, and expertise while protecting the member experience and maintaining the integrity of the NARTS community.
Partner status reflects alignment with NARTS values and standards. It does not imply endorsement, certification, or recommendation of specific products or services unless expressly approved in writing by NARTS.
Partner Status and Use of the NARTS Name
Partners may identify themselves as a “NARTS Partner” during the active term of their agreement.
Use of the NARTS name, logo, or branding must follow NARTS brand guidelines and may not imply exclusive partnership, endorsement, or certification.
Partner status may not be transferred or assigned.
Members First Commitment
NARTS operates under a Members First philosophy. Member trust, experience, and community integrity take priority over promotion or visibility.
Partners agree to participate in a manner that supports this philosophy and respects the purpose of NARTS member spaces. Partner participation is a privilege, not a right.
Approved Visibility and Promotion
Partner visibility is provided only through approved NARTS programs, sponsorships, advertising placements, events, or designated Partner opportunities.
Partners may not promote, advertise, sell, or solicit products or services within NARTS private community spaces, social media groups, forums, or member discussions unless expressly authorized in writing by NARTS.
All Partner communication with members must occur through structured, approved NARTS channels.
Community Conduct and Professional Engagement
Partners are expected to act with integrity, professionalism, and respect in all interactions with NARTS members.
Partners agree to engage ethically and responsibly and will not use pressure, fear, misleading tactics, or inappropriate sales practices.
Partners operate in compliance with applicable laws, industry standards, and best practices and will not encourage actions that place members or NARTS at risk.
Content Standards and Honest Representation
Partners are responsible for ensuring that all submitted content, materials, claims, pricing, and descriptions are accurate, truthful, and relevant to resale and thrift businesses.
NARTS reserves the right to edit, decline, or remove Partner content that is misleading, inappropriate, or misaligned with the member experience.
Fulfillment of Commitments
Partners agree to deliver services and products as represented. Acceptance of payment creates an obligation to fulfill commitments honestly and in good faith.
Failure to meet commitments may result in corrective action or termination of Partner status.
Member Data Use and Confidentiality
All NARTS member information is the exclusive property of NARTS.
Partners may be granted limited access to member information solely for approved participation within NARTS platforms. This access does not permit copying, exporting, storing, sharing, selling, or using member data for marketing, solicitation, list building, or business development.
Partners may not add NARTS members to mailing lists, CRM systems, or marketing platforms unless a member independently and explicitly opts in outside of NARTS.
Violation of this provision may result in immediate termination of Partner status.
Term, Fees, and Renewal
Partner participation is granted for the term associated with the selected Partner level or sponsorship.
Fees are non-refundable once the term begins unless otherwise stated. Partner benefits and visibility apply only during the active term and do not carry over.
Renewal is subject to availability and continued alignment with NARTS standards and values.
Accountability, Suspension, and Termination
NARTS reserves the right to suspend or terminate Partner participation at any time if a Partner violates this agreement, misuses member data, engages in unauthorized promotion, misrepresents services, or acts in a way that harms the NARTS community or reputation.
Termination may occur without refund and without prior notice in cases of serious violation.
Limitation of Liability
Partners acknowledge that NARTS is not responsible for the outcomes of Partner services, products, or business relationships formed through Partner visibility.
Partners agree to indemnify and hold harmless NARTS from claims arising from their services, communications, representations, or conduct.
Acceptance
By participating as a NARTS Partner, the Partner confirms that they have read, understand, and agree to comply with this Partner Agreement and Code of Ethics.
Partner participation is a privilege and is contingent on continued alignment with NARTS standards and the Members First philosophy.
PARTNER INQUIRIES AND CONCERNS
NARTS is committed to maintaining a professional, ethical, and respectful Partner community.
If a member, partner, or stakeholder believes that a NARTS Partner may have acted in a way that is inconsistent with this Agreement or the Partner Code of Ethics, they are encouraged to submit a Partner Inquiry for review.
Partner Inquiries should be submitted using the designated Partner Inquiry Form. This allows concerns to be reviewed thoughtfully, consistently, fairly, and in alignment with NARTS policies and procedures.
Submitting an inquiry does not imply wrongdoing. It initiates a confidential review process to ensure alignment with NARTS standards and the Members First philosophy.
